Sewing Project

Shelby County 4-H Sewing Project Workshops

Shelby County 4-H will be offering sewing classes to beginner, intermediate and advanced sewing participants' grades 4 & above.  Workshop classes will be offered at the Shelby County Extension Office.  Permission forms must be completed before attending the first meeting. Please contact the Shelby County Extension Office if you have any questions.
Limited space available in each session. 
Permission form and 4-H Enrollment form must be turned in to the Shelby County Extension Office by February 7, 2022. The workshop classes will be held on January 25, February 6, February 13, February 27 & March 6. Attendance is required at each session until the garment is completed. Registration is on a first come basis.

A class session will also be held at Heritage Elementary right after school in the art room for Heritage students beginning on January 17th. For information on registration for Heritage Sewing and the permission form please contact the Extension Office directly at 502-633-4593 or email candice.hollingsworth@uky.edu
 

4-H Sewing Project Information

If you are not able to attend the sewing workshops. 4-H Sewing Projects can be completed at home, you can view sewing project information here  https://4-h.ca.uky.edu/content/sewing or call 502-633-4593. 
 

 4-H Fashion Revue

Participants who completed a 4-H sewing project are invited to "show off" their sewing projects during a Fashion Revue May 4th, 2023. Sewing projects can even be entered in the Shelby County Fair.
